Research Ethics and Originality

Our public commitments to responsible research practice across institutional services and member scholarly collaboration.

Core public commitments

  • ResearchCenter does not sell authorship.
  • ResearchCenter does not guarantee journal acceptance.
  • ResearchCenter does not support plagiarism, ghost authorship, gift authorship, fabrication, falsification, or fake contribution.
  • ResearchCenter may conduct originality checks, citation reviews, contribution reviews, editorial screening, and quality checks.

Research Integrity

ResearchCenter is committed to responsible research practice. All work — corporate, institutional, and member-led scholarly collaboration — is conducted with honesty, transparency, methodological rigor, and accountability. We expect every contributor, researcher, and partner organization to uphold the same standard, and we reserve the right to decline or withdraw from any engagement that conflicts with these principles.

Originality and Citation Standards

All submissions, drafts, and deliverables must be original work. Sources must be properly cited using a recognized academic citation style, and any borrowed text, data, figures, or analysis must be appropriately attributed. Self-plagiarism, recycled content without disclosure, and uncited paraphrasing are not acceptable. ResearchCenter may screen submissions using originality and citation review tools before inclusion in any manuscript or client deliverable.

Responsible Use of AI

AI tools may be used to support research, drafting, language refinement, and analysis, but they do not replace human judgment, scholarly responsibility, or accountability. Contributors must disclose meaningful use of AI in the production of any research output, must verify generated content for accuracy and originality, and must not use AI to fabricate data, references, or contribution. Final responsibility for any submission rests with the human contributor.

Authorship and Contribution Ethics

Authorship is reserved for individuals who have made a meaningful intellectual contribution to a manuscript, who have reviewed and approved the final version, and who accept accountability for the work. ResearchCenter does not sell authorship, does not assign gift or honorary authorship, and does not permit ghost authorship. Where a contribution does not meet authorship standards, contributors may be recognized through acknowledgment or contributor records.

Corporate and Institutional Research Confidentiality

Research conducted for companies, government agencies, NGOs, universities, and other institutions is treated with strict confidentiality. Client data, internal documents, interview transcripts, and proprietary findings are handled under defined access controls and are not reused outside the agreed scope of work without written authorization. Confidentiality obligations are documented in the engagement contract for each project.

Quality Review and Screening

Before any material is included in a manuscript or client deliverable, ResearchCenter may conduct originality checks, citation reviews, contribution reviews, editorial screening, methodological review, and quality assurance checks. Submissions that do not meet our quality, originality, or ethics standards may be revised, returned, or excluded. These reviews protect the integrity of every output we publish or deliver.
